  1. Submission Deadline: All entry forms must be completed and submitted by midnight on October 1st, 2024. No extensions will be granted, as we need adequate time for event planning.

  1. Eligibility: Entries are open to women in business operating in the North Nottinghamshire area. Each entry must comply with the criteria specified for the respective award category.

  2. Form Completion: Only fully completed entry forms will be considered. Incomplete forms may result in disqualification.

  3. Originality: All information provided in the entry form must be accurate and truthful. Any false information may result in disqualification.

  4. Judging: Entries will be judged by a panel of independent experts. The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decisions.

  5. Notification: Finalists will be notified via email by October 31st, 2024.

  6. Cost: There is no entry fee or cost to enter the She Means Business Awards.

  7. Additional Information: In some cases, we may contact you via email to request that you provide additional information to support your entry, so please keep an eye on your inbox for correspondence from us.

Event Terms

Ticket Purchase: All finalists must purchase a ticket to the awards ceremony by December 1st, 2024. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the shortlist.

  1. Attendance: All finalists are required to attend the awards ceremony in person to be eligible to collect their award. If a finalist is not present, the award may be forfeited to another finalist.

  2. Ticket Sales: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued, including in the event of postponement due to external factors such as COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances.

  3. Event Postponement: If the event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. No refunds will be provided.

  4. Behavior: Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. The organisers reserve the right to remove any individual from the event whose behavior is deemed inappropriate.

  5. Liability: The organisers of the She Means Business Awards accept no responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during the event.

  6. Privacy: By entering the awards and attending the event, participants agree to the use of their personal information for event-related purposes, including but not limited to announcements, marketing, and promotional activities.

  7. Photography and Videography: By attending the event, attendees consent to being photographed and filmed. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes by the She Means Business Awards.

  8. Force Majeure: The organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, and pandemics. In such cases, the organizers will not be liable for any losses incurred by attendees.

  9. Compliance: All attendees must comply with the venue's health and safety regulations and any government guidelines in place at the time of the event.

By entering the She Means Business Awards and purchasing a ticket for the event, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to entrants and ticket holders promptly.
